Hisinspiringwordspromptedalumnus Hu Kang to set up an education fund. In May 2011, Mr. Hu Kang donated one million yuan to establish the Huazhu Business Administration Education Fund.His initiative aimed toreward 20 outstanding undergraduate teachers, 40 undergraduate students with outstanding overall qualityand a passion forpublic welfare, and subsidize 200 undergraduate students with financial difficulties in ten years.
