In 1911, the predecessor of today's Business School, the Hunan Public Instruction Institute for Business Teachers was founded, pioneering the establishment of an independent business administration discipline in the country. Over the past century, our faculty have inherited the tradition of our predecessors, forging ahead and striving for the rejuvenation of business administration education under Yuelu Mountain.

The Business School has changed its name and address several times over the past hundred years, but our business scholars have never wavered in their eclectic educational principles, and their lofty ideals of revitalizing the Chinese nation.
