The donation ceremony of alumnusXiong Yan to Hunan University (HNU) was held on the morning of September 23.

Yang Zhi, dean of the HNU Business School, and Xia Shuren, secretary of the Party Committeeat the school, presented aspecialgift toalumnusXiong Yan- his own school registration card from 1983,a moment that time-traveled them back 38 years. It felt as though they were witnessing a youngandhopeful teenager, holding the pen with anticipation, as he inscribed his boundless aspirations for the future.

Dean Yang Zhi commented that Mr. Xiong's deed is full of deep feelings for the alma mater, shows a great enthusiasm for contributing to the development of the school, and fully embodies thesincere dedication and concern that HNU alumni holdfor the school.
