Overseas Training Program on Public Financial Management Successfully Held in Laos

Recently, 7th session of ITCBE(International Training Camp for Business Elite)program, namelythe “Overseas Training Program on Public Financial Management for Laos,”was successfully heldby Hunan University. Wu Xiao,division-level officer and associate professorinSchool of Foreign Languages,andJiang Yanhui, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commissionin HNUBS (Business School of Hunan University), were invitedfor lectures andexchanges.

The 30-day training programcovers various sections such aspublic financial management and business management, includingcourses ofbudgeting, tax policy, fiscal supervision, business model innovation, and enterprise value chain management.There are45 participantsin the program, and they arefromLao’sMinistry of Finance, banking systems, and prominent universities. All the participants had anin-depthknowledgeabout China’s latest developments and practical experiences inthe abovementionedfieldsthrough active communicationwithourexperts and scholars.

HNUBS is committed to promoting regional cooperation and development.This training program not onlydeliversknowledge but alsoallows our faculty members to discuss financial management issues with scholars from Laos. Moreover, itis a significant initiative to better deal with regional economic challenges together with ASEAN countries through further cooperation.
