Recently, 7th session of ITCBE (International Training Camp for Business Elite) program, namely the “Overseas Training Program on Public Financial Management for Laos,” was successfully held by Hunan University. Wu Xiao, division-level officer and associate professor in School of Foreign Languages, and Jiang Yanhui, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission in HNUBS (Business School of Hunan University), were invited for lectures and exchanges.

The 30-day training program covers various sections such as public financial management and business management, including courses of budgeting, tax policy, fiscal supervision, business model innovation, and enterprise value chain management. There are 45 participants in the program, and they are from Lao’s Ministry of Finance, banking systems, and prominent universities. All the participants had an in-depth knowledge about China’s latest developments and practical experiences in the above mentioned fields through active communication with our experts and scholars.

Organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce, the program aims to improve economic cooperation and knowledge sharing between China and other ASEAN countries by deepening exchanges among experts at home and abroad, building a solid foundation for future China-Laos cooperation in financial sectors.
HNUBS is committed to promoting regional cooperation and development. This training program not only delivers knowledge but also allows our faculty members to discuss financial management issues with scholars from Laos. Moreover, it is a significant initiative to better deal with regional economic challenges together with ASEAN countries through further cooperation.
