On April 6, Hunan University (HNU) held a summit forum themed "Contributing to Alma Mater and Hunan Province” alongside the inauguration ceremony of the HNU Alumni Entrepreneurs Association. Mr. Li Pengcheng, an EMBA alumnus of Grade 2010, and currently vice chairman of the HNU Alumni Entrepreneurs Association and chairman of Hunan Tongfa Investment Co., Ltd., donated 100 million CNY to HNU to support the construction of its Kechuanggang Campus.
Chen Wei, chairman of HNU Education Foundation, accepted the donation from Li Pengcheng on behalf of the university.
Li Pengcheng said that, the provincial government is vigorously encouraging alumni to return and make contributions to the province’s development. As a local entrepreneur and analumnus of HNU who has deep roots in the university, he felt a strong sense of responsibility. HNU is now constructing the Kechuanggang Campus. Mr. Li Pengcheng expressed his desire to make contributions and inspire other alumni to actively engage in supporting the construction and development of the alma mater. He believed that by doing so, they could also assist the province in achieving the “Three Hubs and Four New Missions " blueprint and building Changsha into a global R&D center.

Mr. Li Pengcheng nostalgically shared his journey of returning to HUN at the age of 25 and enrolling as an EMBA student of Grade 2010. Under the meticulous guidance of his teachers, he systematically learned management knowledge and apply what he learned in the classroom to real-life situations. This has enhanced his enterprise management capacity, greatly improved his innovative thinking, and broadened his international vision. These capabilities have helped him find his own position quickly in the face of fast-changing business competitions, and remain calm and rational when facing challenges and difficulties. Reflecting on his university life, Mr. Li Pengcheng recognized it as a crucial catalyst and a vital pillar for his personal growth and professional development. He felt proud of being an alumnus of HNU, especially when he witnessed the rapid development of the alma mater's academic disciplines and international rankings!

So far, more than 10 outstanding alumni of HNU Business School have collectively donated nearly 150 million CNY to the university to support the "Double First-Class" construction and talent cultivation of the school and the university.
