On the afternoon of Jan.17, the EDP Training Center Forum Annual Meeting 2015 was grandly held in auditorium B111 of Business School of Hunan University. The forum was divided into two halves: Vice President of Hunan University, Professor Chen Shou was invited to deliver a lecture themed “Strategic Choice under the Internet Circumstances” in the first half, and in the second half, a SmartTalk among Co-founder and COO of WEGO+ We-Media Ms. Tang Xiaomin, Co-founder of Beijing Herui Innovation Tech-info Co., Ltd. Mr. Min Yibo, and Professor Chen Shou was held. Co-hosted by Vice Dean of Business School, Professor Lei Hui and student of EDP Senior Management Class 6, also the news presenter- Wang Huan, the forum attracted nearly three hundred participants including EDP students of Hunan University and senior managers from Hunan large and medium-sized enterprises.

During the first half, Professor Chen Shou discussed the enterprise’s choice of business mode and strategic positioning in the internet age via case study on Alibaba Group, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., and Xiaomi Inc.’s huge success. Later in the second half, Mr. Chen, entrepreneurs Tang Xiaomin and Min Yibo, together with the eTV news reporter Wang Huan exchanged ideas on “Strategic Choice in the Internet Era”.

The event was organized by the EDP Training Center of Hunan University, operated by the EDP Alumni Association of Hunan University, and endorsed by the VIVO Smartphone. Oriented towards all the students of EDP senior management classes and EDP alumni of Business School, it also invited some elite entrepreneurs in, aiming at building a high-end EDP training brand at Hunan University and contributing to the management training in central provinces.
