Associate Professor Feng Cao began his talk with “What is scientific research?” and illustrated his understanding with examples. He expected that his demonstration of two methods of empirical research and four solutions of endogeneity would provide some assistance to the junior researcher. Also, he listed the personality traits of researchers and wished students quality academic journeys.
