On Jan 26 2018, the second workshop for the national research project proposal took place. Associate Dean Professor Yingwu Chen of School of Information System and Management, National University of Defense Technology, served as the external speaker to review the proposals. Professor Shou Chen, Associate Dean Professor Hui Lei, Professor Huiming Zhu and Professor Yanhong Yao were members of the judging panel.

Associate Dean Professor Zhongbao Zhou, Professor Zhengde Xiong, Associate Professor Jun Kang, Assistant Professor Sixing Chen and Associate Professor Jin Liu presented their research approaches, applications, and progress. Invited expert and judge panel reviewed the presentations, shared hints and outlined constructive suggestions to the attended faculty members and students.

The workshop provided a concise and clear framework of the project proposal for faculty members in questions. Invited experts covered vital information beyond the topic and instructions relating to objectives, techniques, concepts, etc. The workshop ensures the contribution of faculty members is defined, developed and the application will succeed.
