On Jan 7, 2019, the Business Administration Session, the second one of the Innovation Forum for Graduate Studies, was held as scheduled.

Professor Jian Li presided over the session and invited five faculty members as review panel members: Professor Zhengde Xiong, Associate Dean Professor Zhao Liu, Professor Ling Zhou and Professor Pei Zheng. The effective agenda introduced the attendees to the topic after the short welcome.

Below were a total of 5 presenting students. Their presentations lasted 7- 10 minutes, and four professors discussed their discoveries and feedback at the interaction session.

According to Professor Zhengde Xiong: “topic selection must be entertaining and innovative with careful consideration”. Also, Professor Ling Zhou and Pei Zheng added common concerns on a thesis statement, which must be “stay focused and be thorough”.

Associate Dean Zhao Liu emphasized the application of research outcome while paying attention to calculation and numbers. He also said,“The forum is being organized for the first time and will be an annual event”. The forum and presentations of papers made valuable contacts between students and faculty members and that can help students move to the next level in their further study.
