Led by Professor Honglin Yang, the review panel invited Professor Honglin Yang, Professor Lin Li, Professor Tong Shu and Associate Professor Zibin Jiang. Associate Professor Ziran Zou presided over the event.
A total of seven PhD students presented their research. Their research embraced introduction, current research findings, innovative issues, the structure of modeling, development of new research methods and estimated solutions.

Professor Honglin Yang suggested the greater limit of data in the paper and empirical research in option pricing. Professor Lin Li commented on the gap caused by the overuse of modeling and reality and projected the comparison between chosen methods and classical ones. Professor Tong Shu emphasized the importance of applicability of research outcomes, data effectiveness and accuracy. Associate Professor Zibin Jiang recommended innovative topics and strong connections more than the brief content.
The event advanced students’ understanding of scientific research and developed their innovative and multi-dimension thinking abilities.

Associate Professor Hongbo He questioned the inappropriate use of foreign market data in China’s market and consideration of investor’s preference on the stock crash. Associate Professor Zheng Yao pointed that the amount of trade should weigh more than the number of trade. Associate Professor Jinghua Tang doubted the reflection of a transparent market by sufficient information. Professor Tong Shu suggested the development and conclusion of research work and actual impact.
