Business School of Hunan University has earned 5-year accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools and the most prominent business education network connecting students, educators, and businesses worldwide. HNUBS has become among the 5% of the world’s schools offering business degree programs to earn AACSB accreditation.

Initially launched AACSB accreditation in 2015, HNUBS passed Eligibility and Unit of Accreditation Application in 2016; Qualified Self Evaluation Report in 2017; Passed Progress Report in 2018 and 2019; Passed the final evaluation in 2021 after Peer Review.

In the online Peer Review, the President of Hunan University, Xianzhong Duan, and other school leaders met with AACSB experts in 17 sub-meetings on the introduction of the university & school, recent achievements on academic ranking, program portfolio, research & projects, faculty qualification, etc.
