The 13th ACCA (short for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant) National Education Summit was held at the Hainan University from January 6 to 7. The summit explored the training mode of digital intelligent talents in universities, and commended ACCA excellent universities in 2022. Hunan University has made remarkable achievements in the cultivation of international accounting talents and won the ACCA Excellent University Award 2022.

The ACCA-oriented accounting class of the Business School of Hunan University was founded in 2008. It is the first ACCA-oriented class in Hunan Province, and also a featured class and an important window for the school's international talent training. It has won the ACCA Excellent University Award 2018. Two students have achieved the highest mark in the Chinese mainland in a single subject of ACCA examinations. One teacher was granted the ACCA Teaching Excellence Award.
