The sixth Postgraduate Students Innovation Academic Forum (Week) of HNU Business School kicked off on the afternoon of March 7. Li Jian, deputy director of the Training Office of HNU Graduate School; Yang Zhi, dean of HNU Business School; and Liu Xidong, secretary of the CPC HNU Business School Committee, attended. Chen Yan, director of the Academic Degree Postgraduate Students Education Management Center, presided over the opening ceremony.

After the opening ceremony, invited experts presented lectures at the forum. Prof. Yang Xiaoguang, vice president of the Institute of Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and chairman of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, delivered a presentation on "The Inherent Logic of the Digital Economy." Prof. Zhou Yong, dean of the School of Statistics and the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies in Statistics of East China Normal University, gave a lecture on "The Applications of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Economy, Fintech, Management, and Decision Making." The brilliant presentations allowed attendees to learn about the broad prospects of the digital economy era.

The Postgraduate Students Innovation Forum of the HNU Business School has been held for five sessions since its establishment in 2017. It has received more than 400 research papers of students, invited over 60 renowned scholars from home and abroad and more than 100 sub-forum experts, hosted over 30 forum sessions, and organized 33 high-level expert lectures. The forum has become a well-regarded academic exchange platform for academic communication and collaboration.
