On the afternoon of June 19, Yu Xiangtian, head of Chinese Mainland Affairs of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and his delegation visited the Business School of Hunan University. Yang Zhi, dean of the Business School, attended and delivered a speech in the meeting. Both sides conducted an in-depth discussion on business talent market in the digital intelligence era and scientific and technological development. They also signed a memorandum of understanding to deepen cooperation in an all-round way. Hunan University began offering ACCA programs in 2008 and has received the ACCA South China Region's Excellent Faculty Training Award. Two students from the university generated China Top Winners in ACCA Examinations and one teacher was honored as the ACCA Excellent Instructor. At the 13th ACCA National Education Summit, Hunan University, as the ACCA main teaching institution, was honored with the ACCA Excellent University Award 2022 for its significant achievements in international accounting talent training. In May 2023, the university successfully hosted the 2023 ACCA Job Hunting Competition X Think Ahead Changsha Final.
