On June 28, the Hunan Provincial Department of Education announced the results of the 2023 excellent online open courses of higher education institutions in Hunan Province. Six courses from HNU were included in the list, with four of them coming from the Business School. The included courses were: Intrapreneurship Fundamentals, led by Prof. Wang Zhong; Management Negotiation, led by Prof. Xie Yuhua; Management Information System, led by associate professor Fu Rong; and Corporate Finance, led by Prof. Liu Duan.

In recent years, the Business School has attached great importance to curriculum development and has conducted research to create online teaching resources. Every year, activities like teaching competitions for teachers are organized to encourage faculty members to participate in curriculum teaching and reforms. As a result of these efforts, the school has successfully established seven national brand courses, including courses for high-quality resource sharing and international students and seven provincial first-class courses. Additionally, nearly 20 video courses have been created and launched.
