A “Zero-Carbon Future" themed symposium, a part of the Global Youth Climate Week, opened at the HNU Business School on the evening of November 21. The symposium was hosted by the Business School, the Youth Committee of the Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and the China Building Material Test & Certification Group (CTC) Hunan subsidiary.
Prof. Zhang Yuejun said in his speech that green and low-carbon development is the essential way to cope with climate change. HNU Business School as one of the co-initiators of the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate Change (GAUC), always expects to put forward solutions to climate change through research, education, and public awareness, and to call on more young people to adopt a green life and contribute to promoting sustainable development.
