Zhang Tao, professor and doctoral supervisor of Loughborough University, UK, was invited to the Business School of HNU on the morning of November 21. He delivered an academic report titled "Leveraging digitalization and servitization to improve financial performance."

Professor Zhang introduced the research status of digital transformation, noting that the research in this field needs to adopt a case-based qualitative research approach to achieve theoretical innovation, and make breakthroughs in research thinking by incorporating real-life examples.

He shared his recently published research findings and highlighted the key aspects related to digitalization promoting servitization and servitization promoting enterprise financial performance, specifically focusing on manufacturing enterprise management, financial management, strategic decision-making, risk ability, and other relevant areas. Postgraduate students who were present at the lecture were encouraged to prioritize the value of their research and engage in empirical research that is valuable and meaningful.
