The China (Hunan) Summit Forum of Intelligent Manufacturing 2025 was convened at Business School of Hunan University on the afternoon of January 7, 2017. This forum was co-hosted by the EMBA Academic Program Management Center and the EDP Training Center of Hunan University.

Dean of Business School Prof. Ma Chaoqun presided over the forum. A batch of academic and management personages were invited to deliver lectures and participate in discussions, including Vice President of Hunan University Prof. Chen Shou, Deputy Director of the Hunan Economic and Information Technology Commission Yin Linbo, Regional President for Bosch Electrical Drives for Asia Pacific Dr. Norman Roth, General Manager of Bosch Automotive Products (Changsha) Co., Ltd. Wei Yan, Zoomlion Vice President Sun Changjun, Vice General Manager of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. Shan Yong, Deputy Chief Engineer of AVIC Information and Technology Center Zhang Lunyan, and President of the Changsha Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute Deng Ziwei.

The forum attracted over 300 attendees, including Hunan University’s EMBA and EDP students, and representatives from the Lianyuan City Government, Liuyang Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and several manufacturing enterprises. They discussed about how to promote “Made in Hunan” under the state’s “Made in China 2025” strategy, and build Hunan province from a manufacturing giant into a manufacturing power.


Guests and experts exchanged views on national initiatives “Made in China 2025” and “Intelligent Manufacturing”, related technology study, application and development trend of intelligent manufacturing at home and abroad, opportunity and challenges for China’s industrial transformation development, intelligent manufacturing technologies such as intelligent equipment, intelligent factory, industrial network of things, and intelligent logistics. They also demonstrated related products and solutions as well as technological use in enterprise.
