Financial Management (Financial Engineering) (including the curriculum offered)

China has seen a rapid increase in demand for financial engineering professionals, which can be attributed to the integration of global economy and finance, the internationalization of finance and capital markets, and China's fast-developing financial market and financial technology. With the advantages of "double first-class" A-level disciplines and excellent faculty, the Business School of Hunan University set up an experimental class of financial engineering in 2010. All the full-time teachers hold a doctor's degree, have studied abroad, and excel in scientific research and teaching. The financial management program is committed to the training principle of "market-oriented, student personality-based, future application-oriented", and focuses on cultivating domestic first-class financial management professionals who are world-oriented and information-oriented, have a solid foundation and strong practical ability, and are good at combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. This has been widely recognized by the educational and financial circles. A complete education system involving four levels of undergraduate, master, doctoral and post-doctoral researchers has taken shape. Both research and professional operation abilities of students are nurtured. The program is a characteristic program of the Business School of Hunan University. The Business School offers programs with clear orientation and achieved great results in student cultivation. As a result, students graduated from the school are top-notch and highly capable, mainly admitted to Peking University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Minnesota State University, the University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore and other domestic and foreign first-class universities and well-known financial institutions.
