2023 Graduate Programs of Business School, Hunan University (Academic Degree)

The HNU Business School has two first-level disciplines authorized to offer doctoral and master's degrees, namely "Management and Scientific Engineering" and "Business Administration"; two centers for post-doctoral studies; and, master's degree-granting programs such as MBA, EMBA, and MPAcc. It boasts an array of high-level faculty including national high-level talents, and the creative research groups supported by the National Natural Science Foundation. The school has set up 3 provincial key laboratories such as the "Enterprise Management and Decision Support Technology", and 15 interdisciplinary research institutes, including the Institute of Management Science, the Institute of Digital Society and Blockchain, and the Center for Resource and Environmental Management.

In recent years, the School's management disciplines have been improving their rankings in various discipline rankings worldwide. Both the Business Administration and the Management Science and Engineering were rated as "A" disciplines in the Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings 2020. In the same year, the Business Administration was listed among 200-300 for the first time in the three international authoritative rankings of Times Higher Education, ShanghaiRanking, and US News, ranking the 9th place among all the mainland universities. In 2021, the "Economics and Business" discipline of Hunan University was ranked among the top 1% of ESI disciplines in the world for the first time, to which our school has made a major contribution.

Over the past five years, the Business School has made important progress in graduate training. It won one grand prize and three first prizes in the China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions. It has two newly-added provincial excellent doctoral dissertations and 28 excellent master's dissertations. The school passed the international accreditations of AMBA and AACSB in 2014 and 2021, respectively, which puts the internationalization of talent cultivation on a new historical starting point.
