Research Center for Human Resource and Social Responsibility

The Research Center was established by the HNU School of Business in line with social and economic development and management studies. The center studies human resource management (HRM), corporate social responsibility, HRM theories and methods, and harmonious labor relations via practicing corporate social responsibility. It applies its research results to business discipline education, and guides students to establish the concept of corporate social responsibility and fostering a vision of human resource as the most important part of resource management. Students are trained in: modern management theories, methods and tools; so as to better serve social and economic development, strengthening business operation and management; and increase economic benefits.

Orientation:

Studying business management issues to serve regional economic development

Objectives:

- Probing into the logical relationships between human resources, social responsibility theories and methods, and business management practice;

- Exploring the correlation of human resources, social responsibility and corporate strategic management, resource allocation, labor relations, and expertise management;

- Helping enterprises solve practical problems in management and improve corporate management.

The center currently has 6 professors, 5 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, and 8 doctoral students. It is a powerful and well-structured academic research team.

Yao Yanhong, professor and doctoral supervisor, holds a Ph.D. in management science.

Xie Yuhua, professor and doctoral supervisor, holds a doctor’s degree.
