On January 16, 2018,Management Science and Marketing Sessions, the First HNUBS Graduate Innovation Forum, were carried out in order. This activity was presided by Department Head Professor Ke Zhou and members of expert reviews: Professor Kuang Yang, Zhijian Zeng, Yanping Cai and Zheng Yao.
In this forum, the researchers need to have a10 minutes presentation to be judged one by one, including background introduction, current research, innovative critical points, a description of the model, research methods and findings.
(Management Science Session)
The theme of the Management Science session projected the valuation, selection, calculation and optimization of investment strategies, measured by quantitative analysis such as DEA, data mining and other econometric methods.
(Marketing Session)
The marketing session invited Professor Aizhong He, Xizheng Zhang, Pei Zheng and JieXiao. Participated professors tested relations between variables, empirical analysis on moderator variables and mediating effects. Then, experts concluded the sessions with comments that researchers should pay attention to selecting the forefront topics. The choice of methods should be based on theories, and well-rounded consideration for a more reliable and scientific paper.
(Student’s presentation of thesis)
The forum served to proofread and further improve the thesis. It also explained the significance of academic integrity and strict academic requirement. Most importantly, this event firmly combined theory and practice.
