On April 1 2021, the Hundred of School-Industry agreement on the 2020 China Higher Education Fair produced by the China Association of Higher Education closed the distance between enterprises and schools. It aims to challenge frontier areas and provide innovative solutions for a better future for all.
“Made in Hunan- Management Study on Innovation and Entrepreneurship” by Associate Professor Wei Zeng and “International MBA Education for –‘The Road and Belt Initiative’” by Wei Wan were reviewed by well-known individuals in the industry and academia in the country, which include Director of the Association Yingce Wu, Preceding Vice President of Xinghua Tong of Shan Dong University, Director of Administration Linchong Huang of Sun Yat-sen University, Preceding Director of Laboratory and Equipment Jiping Zhou of Yangzhou University, Director of Education Center, Modern Opto-Electronic Measurement and Instrument Laboratory, Hongyu Zhang of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Staff Xu Yao of the Association, Vice President Shengyuan Cao of Hunan University, Director of Administration Helian Xu, Associate Dean Shuren Xia, Associate Dean Zhongbao Zhou, Deputy Director of Administration Songbai Quan and Representative of cooperating enterprise, General Manager Yan Wei of Bosch Auto Parts, Changsha. At the welcome meeting, Vice President Shengyuan Cao expressed sincere appreciation to the expert group and their support to HNU. He introduced the university& schools, faculty, research, laboratories and school-industry cooperation. He said: “Hunan University stay committed to ‘course& practice& competition platform’ distinctive and practice-oriented talent cultivation model. The cooperation gathered talented individuals and created a network of like-minded experts from across the world. This will lead to a mutually beneficial outcome.”Meeting with a panel of experts will help better understand the school industry process and get a head start on generating quality at HNU.

Xinghua Tong introduced the agreement, application and requirement to the attendees. Team members are suggested to develop suggestions to advance real change on case studies of HNUBS before the submission. Experts also brought knowledge from a breadth of backgrounds in teaching, organization and practicability.

General Manager Yan Wei of BOSCH Auto Parts, Changsha briefed the enterprise and Associate Dean Zhongbao Zhou gave the history of cooperation with Hunan University. Associate Professor Wei Zeng and Associate Professor Wei Wan presented their case studies and hosted the interactive session.

In partnership with enterprises, the agreement delivers a conversational platform and inspires leaders in the private and public sectors. We will publish reports and research on the fair, allowing us to promote school-industry cooperation and professional development education further.
