On April 16 2021, Hunan University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hunan Medical Products Administration. Vice Director Yiheng Liang of the Administration, Vice President Shengyuan Cao of Hunan University, Dean Professor Zhi Yang, Associate Dean Shuren Xia attended the signing ceremony. Director Chiqun Li and Vice President Shengyuan Cao signed on the agreement. The agreement aims to facilitate the scientific foundation in frontier areas and develop industry professionals to become leaders and innovators.

Vice President Shengyuan Cao said: “Hunan University has a successful experience of collaboration with leading institutions. So far, research outcomes, continuous programs and examined practices have offered explanations for those decisions. Hunan University now faces the development of a ‘Double First-tier University’ strategy that needs the support of talented individuals and other resources. Value and quality of our partnership will economize on the engagements through which we form mutual understanding and in-depth work.”
At the closing session, Director Chiqun Li appreciated the alliance with HNU and said, “The partnership between great parties will amplify reputation and status. We tend to harness our scientific and professional know-how, talented people and our network in Hunan to sustain a health care industry and a better society.”
