On May 28, the MOU signing ceremony between Hunan University, Hunan Office of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Securities Association of Hunan Province and Xiangcai Securities took place. The purpose of the MOU is to develop investments as the degree program at HNUBS.
Deputy Director Yongming Zhou of Hunan Office of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Director Jianhui Shi Publicity Department of Shanghai Stock Exchange, Assistant Director Xiaojun Zhao of Consumer Service Department of Shanghai Stock Exchange, Deputy Secretary General Lanlan Wang of Hunan Office of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Director Renliang Zhang of Compliance Department of Xiangcai Securities, Vice President Shengyuan Cao of Hunan University, Dean Professor Zhi Yang, Associate Dean Shuren Xia, Associate Dean Professor Yuejun Zhang, Director Professor Yanhui Jiang of MPAcc and over 50 faculty members and students attended the ceremony.

Vice President Shengyuan Cao said: “The MOU with five key parties requires a strong background and support in the industry. The win-win and mutually complemented partnership then facilitates the resources and sustains the ‘Practice Institute for Investor Education’ and ‘Teaching and Practice Institute for Financial Professionals’ purposes. The partnership is the need and demonstration of teaching reform and curriculum development, in-depth cooperation of ‘Production, Learning and Research’ and aspiration of new approaches in industry-school cooperation. ”
Deputy Director Yongming Zhou said: “Offering education on securities in degreed programs for college student grows correct investment capabilities in the country. Furthermore, our Commission will provide a choice of pathways, which both HNUBS and our Commission work together, such as curriculum development, competitions, information workshop & seminars, building a partnership demonstration between regulatory parties and education institutes.”

After the introductory session, Director Songjie Lv of Investment Advisory of Xiangcai Securities educated faculty members and student on the “Mystery of Fixed Income” ceremony. Associate Dean Professor Yuejun Zhang presided over the lecture and appreciated the opportunity. He said：“Director Lv’s effort at HNUBS equips faculty members and students with professional insights, knowledge and skills, our School will take the faster pace and hold more financial events in the future.”
