On May 28, Dean Professor Zhi Yang, Professor Jianliang Yu and staff of the International Center attended online meeting with AACSB PRT Chair Dr. Barry Burgen. Professor Jianliang Yu presided over the meeting. The agenda for the meeting includes greeting & opening, introduction of school, report progress, Q&A and conclusion.

After short greeting and self-introduction, Dean Professor Zhi Yang, on behalf of the school executive committee, sent his congratulation to Dr. Barry Burgen for being chair of AACSB PRT Chair and appreciation for upcoming instruction on AACSB accreditation work.
Then, Dean Professor Zhi Yang gave brief introduction of the school, recent achievements on academic ranking, program portfolio, research & projects and faculty qualification.
Professor Jianliang Yu next informed Dr. Barry Burgen of SER status, asked common issues & tips inSER writing and submission of SER.
Dr. Barry Burgen firstly congratulated on the HNUBS’s effort and work on AACSB accreditation and went over the essential of review procedures and standards by AACSB committee. Dr. Barry Burgen also outlined three aspects for school’s strategic planning: growing strength on international research profile, performance-oriented rewarding mechanism and greater recruitment of talented individual around the globe.
At the conclusion, Dean Professor Zhi Yang wished Dr. Barry Burgen a healthy and safe life at home and looked forward to next meeting. Dean Professor Zhi Yang said: “Thanks for the exclusive networking and learning opportunity with Dr. Barry Burgen, I felt grateful of the struggles that got us here, the Center will strive to meet suggestions above and submit quality report towards our expectation.”
