(Opening of Case Studies Contest)
On June 6 2021, the 7thMPAcc Case Studies Contest Champion for college student was held in Changsha. The event was authorized by China Accounting Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Committee and co-organized by Hunan University. Team “Qi Zhi Lan Fang” representing HNUBS won the “Top Prize”.
Deputy Director Professor Huacheng Wang of the Committee and Renming University, Director Shengli Yan of Academic Degrees& Graduate Education Department of Hunan Department of Education, Director Zilan Zeng of Accounting Department of Hunan Department of Finance, Vice President Shengyuan Cao of Hunan University, Dean Professor Zhi Yang, Associate Dean Professor Yuejun Zhang, Director Professor Kaohua Yao of MPAcc, Deputy Director Associate Professor Yanhui Jiang and more than 20 scholars from academia attended the closing ceremony.
The committee organized corporate visits, simulation of decision making on management issues and solution competition etc. The contest is designed to get ideas off the ground and explore topics and data analyzing skills.
This year the committee invited over 2882 MPAcc teams and 550 B.A. Accounting teams from 235 universities. 11 teams went through two rounds for qualification.
An on-site two-day semi and final phase that accounts for presentation, debating, judge interaction with 23 scholars of academics and private sectors.
MPAcc case studies contest for college student teaches and inspires innovative and practicing skills among students. It benefits discipline development and supports the national assessment of Hunan University.
